Ryan Bair was born and raised in Central Indiana, but has spent the past 15 years in the foothills of East Tennessee. Blair graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Art Education and an emphasis in painting. He and his wife, Meredith, live in Knoxville and are both educators in the public school system. They spend much of their time enjoying their three children, Fischer, Finnley, and Scout.
Blair enjoys working in many mediums, but primarily in watercolors. He pulls much of his imagery from shapes and lines found while exploring local mountain sides, streams, or paddling his canoe. Some of his imagery is reoccurring and often an explosion of color and funk.
