“ It is both a gift, and a responsibility. May it bring Glory to God.”
Born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama, Leslee has been interested in art, and creating artistic things, since she was a young girl. After receiving her college degree in Finance, she worked in the banking world until her true calling of motherhood. She later developed LLB designs; a hand painted clothing business in 1996, where she sold her original designs in both retail and wholesale markets.
In 2001, she continued her artistic adventures by beginning the study of painting in oils. Once she began that new expression of herself, she dissolved her clothing business to further pursue painting on canvas. She has studied under many local and nationally recognized artists whose work she admires. With an interest in capturing many aspects of life, she paints landscape, still life, and figures in which she desires to convey a sense of peacefulness to all who view her work.
Leslee’s work has been accepted, and may be seen, in many shows and exhibits throughout the year. In February, 2011, two of her works of art will be exhibited at the Huntsville Museum of Art. Leslee has been selected as a member of Women Painters of the Southeast and is represented by York & Friends galleries in Nashville and Leipers Fork, Tennessee. She has completed numerous commission pieces for both corporate and individual clients in the United States and internationally. Simply stated, she loves her work.
Leslee has lived in Nashville, Tennessee for the past 21 years. Her greatest joy is sharing life with her two teenage children; Jeffrey and Alli, and her husband of 24 years, Jon.
