As an artist I enjoy the struggle as much as I do the end product. I mix color, typography, a bit of faith, sentimental imagery and a laugh now and then to take you on the journey with me. I prefer to start with an unknown and let it pull me to completion. Many times I take the wrong road and have to double back to find the right path. The final image is often a simplification of a journey full of twists and sharp turns along the way. The ultimate challenge is to convey emotional transparency along each twist and turn. I believe emotional truth to be the defining characteristic of an artist.
