Jyl Walker, founder of Jyl Walker Jewelry, creates pieces of art for fashion forward women who are looking for artistically designed jewelry unavailable anywhere but in Jyl’s studio. Her work is imbued with life and personality. Her original designs combine the elements and textures of nature, the materials used, and the individuality of the wearer in mind.
Growing up with an imbedded sense of exploration and appreciation for all things natural, Jyl’s biggest influence was her father, who was a multi-visionary artist and fine jeweler for over 40 years. While having no formal training in jewelry making when she founded her business in 2003, her life experiences, travels, reading, and research all led to Jyl evolving into the artist she is today.
Her unique jewelry design sense, grew under the premise of “anything is possible”. A love of exploring new techniques, a desire to create something of lasting beauty and quality has been her goal, in some ways, since childhood. Never one to follow the crowd, she strives to create fine original pieces that are easy to wear, evoking a sense of beauty in the wearer. A unique sense of elegance, enables a woman to express her own creativity through her designs.
