After spending two years pursuing a degree in Marine Biology at the College of Charleston, I realized that I had been avoiding my true destiny…art. I transferred to the University of TN, Knoxville where I spent the next two years immersing myself in art studies and received my BFA in 2001 with an emphasis in drawing. Still feeling that something was missing, I attended Penland, a renowned school of arts and crafts located in North Carolina where I studied jewelry design. Here I was determined that I had found not only what my career would be, but also where my true creative talents lay.

My work is all hand-crafted and designed to be striking, but ultimately feminine and beautiful. I especially love to work with semi-precious stones in combination with 18k and 24k gold. In 2006, I opened my own gallery in west Knoxville called “Artisans” where i show not only my own work, but the work of over 40 other artists. My hope is that the creative spirit that inspires my designs will be imparted to all who wear them.
